Does it really make a difference what kind of music you listen to ?
It makes a difference in my life.  Music ministers to your spirit. It feeds your sub-conscience. Even if you are not paying attention to what the song is saying, it can bring you down. I like a variety of music styles; but mainly I like to listen to music that is uplifting.
Here is a list of some of my favorite CD's:
In no particular order-

4HIM-
The Ride (1994)
The Message (1997)
We saw them in concert recently.  They put on a GREAT show while at the same time, delivering an important "message" !

DONNA JEAN-
Donna Jean (1996)
This is good music.  A little different from the others I've listed but one of the best. Donna is a former member of the Grateful Dead. She's been out of music for a while, but her return is exciting!
*You can also read a short bio on Joey Holder at her site, he played keyboard on this album.

John Elephante-
Windows of Heaven (1995)
He is a former member of the group KANSAS. His latest music is excellent. I like his old KANSAS  stuff too!

Joey Holder-
UNTO THE KING (1996)
This is my favorite Praise & Worship CD.  Could be because Joey is our worship leader at church? Well, ok that is part of it - but I would love it if I'd never met him!  Joey wrote all the songs & all the songs come from scripture. He is a very talented pianist* and gifted songwriter. What a blessing!  If you can't find it in your local Christian Book Store, send me e-mail, I'll ask him about ordering for you.

AMY GRANT-
THE COLLECTION (1986)
This is a collection of her earlier music, ranging from 1979-86. This is one of my very favorites. She has done a lot of good stuff since then, too.

REVIVAL at BROWNSVILLE-
(1996) Recorded live in Pensacola, Florida
Absolutely wonderful Praise & Worship! Feeling blue? Put this in and worship the Lord while you are doing whatever you have to do. It is amazing how it will help you focus on what is important and perk you right up! (But don't wait until you're down, just listen to it!)

LENNY LEBLANC-
Say a Prayer (1983)
All My Dreams (1994)
The Bridge (1996)
You've just got to hear it for yourself!
Remember LeBlanc & Carr ?  Yes, That's him. Read about him here.

PETRA-
Captured in Time & Space (1986)
WAKE-UP CALL (1993)
NO DOUBT (1995)
PETRA's style varies from mellow to hard rock. I like most all of their music, these are only a few of their titles.

I could go on... but that's a good start! I may add some more later!
